Youth Protection is our top priority in CST 10 and throughout the entire Scouting Program. True youth protection can be achieved only through the focused commitment of everyone in Scouting. It is the mission of Youth Protection volunteers and professionals to work within Scouting America to maintain a culture of Youth Protection awareness and safety at the national, service territory, council, district, and unit levels. Please note that Youth Protection Training is required for all Scouting America registered volunteers and is a requirement to join or renew your membership. Youth Protection Training must be taken every year. If a volunteer’s Youth Protection Training record is not current at the time of recharter, the volunteer will not be re-registered. You do not have to be a registered member of Scouting America or have received a member ID to take Scouting America's Youth Protection Training. Youth Protection Begins with You!
