Council Territory 10 ScoutCon
On April 5, CST 10 held its annual ScoutCon conference in Lee, Massachusetts. Over 135 volunteers and professionals participated in sessions on NCAP, membership strategy, commissioner service, marketing, fundraising, the new quality council program, and safeguarding youth. There were breakout sessions for Scout Executives, Council Presidents/Chairs, Council Commissioners, and Council Membership Chairs.
The opportunity to meet and talk in person at a Friday night social event and during the program on Saturday were invaluable. The Western Massachusetts Council was a great host Council, providing site logistics.
Recognitions were given to Western Massachusetts Council volunteers who helped with the event, session presenters, and Commissioner-elect Dot Young who organized the conference. CST 10 Chair David Lippitt recapped 2024 council successes. Finally, recognition was given to David Lippitt and Sal Ciampo, who will complete their terms as Territory Chair and Commissioner, at the National Annual Meeting in May.
Save the date of October 24-25, 2025 for the CST 10 Key Leadership Conference. It will be held at the Holiday Inn in Saratoga Springs.
